Under construction.

This dataset describes the dust reddening at 4.5 kpc derived from Pan-STARRS1 stellar photometry by Schlafly et al (2014). The map is based on the estimated distances and reddenings to more than 500 million stars. The map covers almost the entire sky north of declination -30 degrees at a resolution of 7 to 14 arcminutes.

The Forgotten Quadrant Survey (FQS) was an ESO large project that used the 12 m antenna of the Arizona Radio Observatory to map 12CO(1-0) and 13CO(1-0) emission in the Galactic plane. The 12CO(1-0) observations by the FQS cover a region within the longitude range l = (+220°,+240°) and latitude range b = (-2.°5,0°) where the visual extinction (Av) exceeds 3 mag. The coverage of the 13CO(1-0) observations is restricted to regions with Av > 4mag.

The goal of the new reprocessing was to solve calibration,
zero level and striping problems in the IRAS data.
The almost all-sky survey has been performed in 4 bands :
12 microns (at 3.8'),
25 microns (at 3.8'),
60 microns (at 4.0') and
100 microns (at 4.3').
Observations were made in three different epochs (HCON1, HCON2 and HCON3).
The IRIS NOHOLES files correspond to the original unobserved regions filled with DIRBE.

Based on supervised deep learning algorithms, the CADE service produced dust emission estimates at 850 microns (353 GHz) and 1.38 mm (217 GHz) at the Herschel resolution (37 arcsec). To perform this work, Herschel data of Galactic environments, smoothed to the 5 arcmin angular resolution, have been used to train the neural network to provide the best model able to reproduce Planck maps of dust emission (after removing CMB, CIB and 12CO contributions) in the two bands …

PILOT (Polarized Instrument for Long Wavelength Observation of the Tenuous ISM) is balloon-borne experiment to obtain wide-field maps of the polarised thermal dust emission at 240 microns in the Milky Way and Local Group galaxies. There have been two scientific PILOT flights, from Timmins, Canada in 2015 and from Alice Springs, Australia in 2017. A third scientific PILOT flight from Timmins is scheduled for September 2019.

Planck was an ESA space telescope (2009 -- 2013) that observed the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation. The main goal of the Planck mission was to measure small deviations from isotropy with an unprecedented accuracy and level of detail in order to distinguish between competing cosmological models.

The Radio Ammonia Mid-Plane Survey (RAMPS) has surveyed 24 square degrees of the Galactic plane using the Green Bank Telescope (GBT).

RAMPS covers the longitude range l = (10º,40º) and latitude range |b| < 0.4º. The key spectral targets of RAMPS were the ammonia transitions NH3(1,1) to NH3(5,5). Other emission lines in the RAMPS band include transitions of HC5N, HC7N, CH3OH, HNCO, H2O and CCS.

Structure, Excitation and Dynamics of the Inner Galactic Interstellar Medium (SEDIGISM) was a survey of molecular lines in the 217–221 GHz range with the SHeFI receiver on the APEX telescope. NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope was launched on August 25, 2003 from Florida's Cape Canaveral Air Force Base. Spitzer incorporated an 85 cm diameter telescope primary mirror, cooled to as low as 5.5 K,and three scientific instruments providing imaging and spectroscopy at wavelengths from 3.6 to 160 microns. This Space Observatory comprised three instruments :
